The Role
Are you a Graduate, with excellent numerical ability? Do you have an interest in analytical roles and a desire to work in Online Marketing?
If so, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and successful Online Marketing Team. You will be given full training as a Digital Marketing Analyst in order to manage thetrainline.com’s paid search advertising campaigns.
This is a fantastic entry level position into what is one of the fastest growing, in demand and exciting markets that could lead you down a long term, fulfilling career path in the Online Marketing industry.
Key Accountabilities
You can expect to spend much of your time analysing results from campaigns, building campaign optimisation models, creating reporting dashboards and communicating those results with key stakeholders. You will also assist with any strategy changes necessary to improve the campaigns.
You will help to research keywords specific to campaigns, you will get involved with real time bidding across Google, Yahoo and Bing and then run live search marketing campaigns. You will also have responsibility for creating adverts and writing marketing content to promote thetrainline.com offering. Working to campaign KPIs you will also offer insight gained from analysing consumer behaviour on how to optimise the PPC campaigns to ensure you're maximising the return on investment for thetrainline.com.
Education & Experience
Due to the highly analytical nature of this role you will have a strong numerical background, ideally a 2.1 degree in mathematics or a numerical subject from a good University.
Any commercial experience in a marketing or analytical environment would be viewed very favourably.
Technical Skills/Abilities
· Excellent knowledge of Excel with practical experience of using it to solve problems
· The ability to analyse and interpret data.
